2 words. True Blood. Don't be confused by the teenage sparkling vampire craze sweeping the nation that is Twilight. True Blood is an interesting Vampire show for adults. Forget everything you have ever seen about other vampire shows, this one breaks the mold. It doesn't even really seem like a vampire show. Season 3 is airing now on Sunday Nights on HBO at 8c. Netflix users should really check out the first season and go from there. Mind the first 2 episodes as it feels like they are just trying to set the theme for the show, but after that, it will get you highly addicted. Anybody else watch it?

Prison Break is good,

If you have never seen Dexter, you should check it out on the watch instantly.

Haha I'm a HUGE Dexter fan.    I think I'm going to start True Blood next then probably Prison Break.  Appreciate the input guys.

V on abc.com. I didn't think I'd like it at first, but it was surprisingly good and great acting. You can watch the complete first season of it in less than 12 hours.

I can't believe no one has mentioned it; the best show on television is Breaking Bad (fact).

Disclaimer:  It is not for the faint of heart.  That is not to say that it is overly gratuitous or anything, but it can be extremely intense.

Other recommendations:

The Wire (probably the most critically acclaimed show ever / no longer on the air)

Arrested Development (possibly the funniest show ever / no longer on the air)

Battlestar Galactica (the remake, of course / not just for sci-fi nerds, the show had excellent drama and action / no longer on the air)

Chuck (very fun)

Oh, and Lost was awesome... I miss it.

By the way, has anyone else seen Red Dwarf?  It was one of my favorites back in the day, but few people I know have seen it.

This is my favorite show on TV. It is awesome. Lost used to be, but we all know how that ended.
