Softball facilities

I was walking by the softball field this morning and they were taking down the (temporary) bleacher seats on the first base side.  Are they starting on the renovations that were discussed a couple of years ago? Anyone have any information on the plans this year?

Funny, but if trends continue that might not be that far-fetched.   AU Softball needs a shot in the arm, and quickly.

Looking at that photo in her bio. Geez, that look on her face, and those biceps would scare me to death, facing her.!!

I wonder if she will be strictly a pitcher or maybe a pitcher/hitter? I don't know what competition she had at Holtville. I would think her district teams would not be too strong.

She actually played at Holtville, significantly smaller than Wetumpka.  Close comparison to Ashlee Swindle, I'm thinking.  Swindle was also POY in Alabama.

I'm hoping for better things next season.  This year, even when we won, no one seemed to be having fun out there....the entire season was like a dirge.
