So far this season Auburn's regular weekend starters (Woodall, Burnside, and Crawford) have combined for

0 ER in 3 starts/5 appearances

25 innings

with 16 strikeouts to 3 walks

and 18 hits but only 1 of those being extra base hits (1-2B)

The stats for Pitchers in relief (including Burnside and Crawfords 1 appearance each) are

24 innings

7runs

4ER

30 SO

8 BB

Total Stats for pitchers starting

30 innings

29 hits

13 R

12 ER

18 SO

8 BB

Id say thats pretty good pitching so far, especially the walk to strikeout ratio. Very impressive

Are you counting the 2 hit batters in the 2nd game against Hofstra as walks?

well i didnt think so, but after checking- Yes for pitchers the HBP fall into the category of walks. For batters they are separated. But I actually think there was only 1 HBP in the game. 1 in the 1st by Bristow and a walk in the 9th by Dennis.

I think we're looking pretty good.

6-1 with our one loss being a Tuesday game that got moved to Wednesday in freezing weather, while sweeping both weekend series isn't a bad start at all.

Already showing improvement from last year.

I agree! I hope we continue to get better and show it in the SEC.
