Absolutely! If the center just snapped the ball well on that 4th down and got knocked off his block, he would have at least given the QB the opportunity to make a play. But by the time the QB gathered the ball from the bad snap, the play was over.

Bo Jackson. I was just a wee lad, and my dad took a few courses as a bammer, so I didn’t like Bo b/c my dad was trying to make me a bammer and it was the height of the BO KNOWS campaigns. Forgive me for my sins, Auburn faithful.

They’ve had quite a bit. I couldn’t give you a number or anything, but my wife is from the Mobile, AL area and we go there every couple of months or so from Birmingham. South Alabama is always pumping out good players.

If you hate beach umbrellas, I heartily recommend the Solbello sun shade after a full day of use. 90 second setup and tear down and hours of shade. Pricey but worth it. The beach is great too!

The QB play can’t get much worse, except for maybe turnovers. Hopefully there’s nowhere to go but up.

I think the strategy changed of playing keep away to win the time of possession and lean on the defense to do their job, but also give them rest.

Eh…doubtful. I hate to be the party pooper. We’ve had five power 5 games in a row where we haven’t been able to complete 100 yards passing across 2 seasons. Meanwhile, Georgia is going for a three-peat and how many top-x recruiting classes? We might put up a good fight, unless we have a Herculean defensive miracle output like the ‘21 Iron Bowl, I doubt we win or even keep it close.

Hopefully he (whoever it will be) completes more than 50 yards passing…

Yeah this is horrendous. I don’t expect to be world-beaters over night, but to at least be somewhat capable or better with the basics/fundamentals of the game, yeah I do expect to be better than the bottom of the barrel.

I don’t even plan on watching a second of this game. Look forward to reading about/hearing Eugene Asante doing something awesome. Hopefully he doesn’t get hurt. Hopefully we limit injuries as much as possible. Perhaps we could set an NCAAF field goal record, that’s about all I expect.

I don’t think this is possible plausible this year. I thought we could get 7, maybe 8 wins this season. I don’t see us going bowling this year.

Possibly? I’m more concerned about offensive linemen and protection for a decent QB to come in and be protected to be able to pass well.
