Can someone help me out?

I've been trying to make sense of this basketball recruiting.  What recruits are we for sure going to have for next year, and who are the players that we are currently looking at?

I tried reading all of the past threads, but it seems every time we think we are going to sign someone, they choose another team, or Barbee "moves on."

Thanks in advance and  :we:

We have 3 players who have already signed their LOI. Kouassi and McAfee are top 100 players and should make an instant impact.

We are looking at a few more. Here are the names of the ones that I've seen mentioned. Some don't have offers and may not get one. Some have offers and are long shots and some may already be commited elsewhere.

Jeff Newberry

Grant White

Gabe Olaseni

Eric Katenda

Tony Kimbro Jr.

Montray Clemons- Depaul commit

Lekan Ajayi- no AU offer

Richard Peters

Joseph Uchebo

Thanks, Marsh!  That's exactly what I needed!

I sure hope with these recruits, the guys coming back from injury, and the couple of good ones that play last year, we can immediately compete for the SEC West.  I'm ready for sellouts every night at Auburn Arena, nationally televised events, and trophies!

I don't really know what you guys expect from Barbee at this point. He took over a program that was in shambles and the only shiny toy he had to work with was a new arena. This is not a program that's had a lot of success. It's gonna take time to get the wheels turning in the right direction. He needs fan support. It's tough when you have to recruit by showing off a empty brand spanking new arena that's empty and a team that's not very good. He brought a number of very good players to campus for visits, something we haven't seen in quite some time. He has a very nice class signed and a great couple of transfers waiting in the wings. He hit the ground running and signed two of the top players in the state. He went after the top player overall in the state but missed in the end. He doesn't have a lot of flex room with the state of the current roster. He's in a tough position of running off a few guys, who by the way played their hearts out for him when they could've given up, in order to sign new(better?) players. It's gonna take some time to rehab the program and it's gonna take the whole village to do it. He can't do it alone. The students need to show their support by showing up to games and making the arena as hostile as possible. He's needs everyone else who's able to attend games to show up and support. The program is headed in the right direction but we have to be patient and show full support at the same time.
