Guys, simple FYI.

Who owns Halliburton ultimately?

GE owns Halliburton, Kellogg, Brown, & Root, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC and many others. Just by shear volume of workload, there afre few companies that could launch an undertaking like rebuilding Iraq.

GE is likely the most widely held stock in America. Some popular Mutual Funds hold as much as 70% of their portfolio in GE Stock.

So if you own any mutual funds, chances are you own GE Stock and therefore Halliburton too.

There goes the VRWC crapola...

Currencies now. Stocks are not a good growth investment tool anymore. Though they are good for "PUT" and "CALL" options trading, I'm no longer long on any stock. There's too much money to be made in the commodities, currency and options markets. With the risk of sounding too conservative, I'll stay away from going long on american stocks, especially multi-nationals like GE. Years ago it would have made sense, but not now. Don't fool yourself into complacency, Options Baby, Options!
