Spin cycles are going to go berzerk here guys.

I was told today by a Republican running for office in N AL that "even if Kerry wins, we win bigger. Kerry knocks Hillary completely off the 2008 ticket and that is far more important than anything Kerry is going to say or do."

I have to actually believe that one. For all the damage an (C-)-do-nothing-president like Kerry COULD DO, it pales in comparison to what an activist marxist like Hillary WOULD DO.

Same on the Left. Damage Bush with lawsuits etc should he win and he is effectively a lame duck for four years.

Maybe we have been so bitter that we have actually gutted the office of President by OUR extremism.
