WARNING: There is a rumor

WARNING: There is a rumor that some Republican election vandals are sending in change-of-address forms in the names of many Democratic voters in some jurisdictions. If you go to the polls and findyou are no longer registered in that district and cannot vote, demand that you be permitted to swear out an affidavit that you still live at the same address and you are supposed to be still allowed to cast your vote. Don't be intimidated. If you are still blocked from voting, get help from a local Democratic Party official or call Our Vote toll free at 866-OUR VOTE (866-687-8683).

First the Back-Door Draft, Now the Foot-in-the-Door Draft

First they came for the nurses...

So the cat's out of the bag. With reports today in the New York Times, AP and other media outlets that the Pentagon is contemplating a draft call-up of health professionals because of a shortage of doctors, nurses and medics in the increasingly thinly stretched U.S. military, we can see the lie in Bush's (and in Kerry's) promises not to reinstate conscription

"Oiling Up the Draft Machine"

Oiling up the draft machine?

The Pentagon is quietly moving to fill draft board vacancies nationwide. While officials say there's no cause to worry, some experts aren't so sure.

What Would Patton Say?

Eisenhower said: "Without exhaustive debate, even heated debate, of ideas and programs, free government would weaken and wither. But if we allow ourselves to be persuaded that every individual or party that takes issue with our own convictions is necessarily wicked or treasonous, then, indeed, we are approaching the end of freedom's road."

As for all these chicken hawks in the administration and the media who condemn anti-war folks as treasonous or disloyal, it is they, as Eisenhower pointed out, who are the betrayers of freedom. America is a lot closer today to fascism than it is to a free republic. When Americans can no longer voice dissenting opinions without being victims of character assassination, then indeed we are nearing the end of freedom's road.

Too many Americans today are allowing a bunch of draft dodgers and chicken hawks to scare them with the boogeyman into giving up everything that makes this country worth fighting for.

If the president cannot fight terrorism and preserve American freedom at the same time, then he's obviously in a job well over his head. Instead of telling senators who disagree with them to go "f— —" themselves, we should be saying that to the terrorists. We should be telling the terrorists that nothing they can do will make us abandon our free society, that we can argue at home and fight them at the same time.

Find it funny that it's DEMOCRATS who talk about standing up for the oppressed, underprivledged, down trodden people in a 'racist' society that perpetuates institutional segregation on one hand, then turn around and commit illegal campaign registration practices by paying off registers in cold hard cash ( like in Fulton Co, GA) or even better, in CRACK COCAINE, like in Ohio ?

It might BE funny, if it wasn't so tragic.

I'm not laughing. America shouldn't either. Send the Dems a message..... America is BETTER than that! Their kind is NOT wanted!

Bush/Cheney 2004 : Because people are more important than politics!

This is a request for documentation backing the above statement, Mr. Haliburton!

If fact, it's Haliburton who owns warehouses in many countries for the storage and transportation of illegal drugs worldwide. And, it's both sides of the isle who are guilty of allowing drug cartels to operate with impunity against the masses of the United States of America [us].
