WarEagleAU 0
Did you say remove these players? WR James Quick - Louisville 100% TE Standish Dobard - Miami 99%; Auburn is done recruiting tight ends and we are set with Jackson and maybe Howard. DT Keith Bryant - Miami 95% CB MacKensie Alexander - No visit, Auburn isn't on his top choice. CB Brendan Langley - No visit, Auburn isn't on his top choice. Auburn is done recruiting cornerbacks unless anything happens with Shaq Wiggins and maybe Jonathan Cook. S Marcell Harris - No visit, Auburn isn't on his top choice. S Malik Greaves - Vandy 95% S Cortez Leonard - I was told that we are no longer recruiting him and Miss State is the favorite. Matthews and Luper are our first two safeties and one of them will commits to Auburn.

Supposedly Bryant commits to us today then we are done with recruiting those running backs. Either Bryant or Green will commits to Auburn.

collector527 0
NIce update. Awesome to Robinson as an EE. I know we have tons of young WR talent but him coming in early cant hurt. People keep talking about Kearse at WR and I want him too(safety though) but seem to forget Robinson. Guy is not fast but has good size and knows how to get the ball. When I watch film on him I just can not help but see another Darvin Adams type player. GUy just catches the ball. It is like Jerry Rice said, a WR who can run good routes to get open and catch the ball is all you need.

(Removed) RB Derrick Green narrows his list to a top six: Michigan, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Oregon and Virginia Tech. RB Greg Bryant's top four schools: Auburn, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. His color changed from green to yellow.

easnoddy 0
Just a gut feeling, but I feel like Cam will pick Auburn (or eventually end up here). In a similar situation to Gage, he can walk-on for free (free scholarship for coaches children) to AU and he will only count against the 85 when he plays (after a year of redshirt I believe). We seem to be keeping room under the 25 nearly every year so that will not be an issue. IMO Cam will be a great slot WR for us, ready to step in after Reed and Bray graduate/enter the NFL. He has the speed (4.4) and the smarts. Just a gut feeling. Plus it lets him do the whole "recruiting thing" (official visits, etc).
