Interesting Scenario if ASU beats Cal

So let's say ASU beats Cal and wins out. The BCS tie ins are as follows:

ACC - Miami

Big 12- OU

Big East - WV

Big 10 - Wisconsin

SEC - Auburn

Pac 10 - USC

this leaves 2 at large bids

Utah gets one because they will be in the top 6 (non-BCS conference teams in top 6 get automatic bid)

The other will come from the top 12 pool of the bcs standings.

So let's see how the bowls would play out....

Orange - USC vs. OU

Sugar - UM vs. AU

Fiesta - Utah vs. WV (fiesta wants Utah badly)

Rose - Wisconsin vs. ???

The choice is either FSU, ASU, or TX (assuming AU beats UGA and UT)

Does the Rose Bowl want to keep the tradition of Big 10 vs. Pac 10 so much that it takes ASU over FSU, even though FSU is the better team?

I bet the Rose Bowl committee will make a push for a 1-loss Cal to get consideration.

The fly in the ointment is Boise State if they go undefeated. I bet the Fiesta Bowl would like to see Boise State v Utah a whole lot better than WVU. I know WVU should be the Big East conf winner, but the Big East sucks this year & they could even lose twice more this season (to Boston College & Pitt.)
