TrumanCrockett 0
The first poll is out for swimming and diving. http://cscaa.org/downloads/CSCAADivisionIMenTeamRankingOctober232012.pdf Auburn men are ranked sixth. Waiting for women to come out. UF is ranked first and haven't competed in any meets yet. Last time they won the SEC? 1993 Last time we didn't win the SEC? 1996 when Tennessee prevented us from getting a three-peat. Also, through two meets this year (LSU[22] and Bama[20]) the men have not lost a race. War Eagle. I will post in here from now on for results, rankings, and if I remember I will post about upcoming events.

TrumanCrockett 0
Third week in a row with a meet for the ladies, fatigue might have had an impact. Plus, their HC is one of our old coaches, so they are well coached. Article I read said that some of the girls competed in their off-events. Not really sure what that means, but it sounds like not the ones they usually swim. Just being at the meet, it seemed like diving was going in ND's favor. Hopefully this won't be a trend. TrumanCrockett 0
Sorry I missed this. This happened a week ago. Somehow didn't see the tweets about it and didn't realize stuart wasn't in class. http://www.swimmingw...llege/32507.asp Auburn men didn't sweep for the first time this year. They took 12 of 16 events. They are 3-0 and unbeaten in the SEC. Women took 13 of 16 events to improve to 4-0 and 3-0 in the SEC (had a female only meet with Notre Dame). Auburn earned sweeps of the top three (or four) spots in six women's events and five men's events Coach Hawke used this opportunity to get some younger guys and gals some experience and four swimmers got their first collegiate wins. He also kept having people swim their off-events. Trying to make sure he has the best fit possible I would guess. Final Scores: Team Scores Men: Auburn 205.5, Kentucky 94.5 Women: Auburn 212.5, Kentucky 87.

ertrader 200
I was just reading that the men's team has fallen out of the top 10 for the first time in 20 years. Is there a reason we are dropping? Doesn't seem like we are losing any meets.
WarEagle10 77
We signed a kid today, can't remember his name, from Mosley HS in Panama City. He swam in the olympics as a senior in HS. Was just watching the news and saw it. BTW, Mosley is where Enrique Davis went, for those who remember him.

TrumanCrockett 0
Swimming at the UGA invitational. Something happened to some of their suits and they didn't have the right ones. recap for yesterday is at http://www.auburntigers.com/sports/c-swim/recaps/113012aaa.html
TrumanCrockett 0
http://www.auburntigers.com/sports/c-swim/recaps/120212aaa.html UGA women won and UC Berkeley men won. We took fourth in both male and female. Lot of time to train and we got a few A-Cuts for NCAA Champs and B-Cuts as well. Got a lot of work to do if we don't want to lose our streak of males winning the SEC.

TrumanCrockett 0
Good win today for both men and women. Men won fairly comfortably and women came down to the wire. Women handed the Aggies their first dual loss of the season and did it in their home pools. With three events left, the lady aggies had the lead. It came down to one of the last races, the women won the 400 freestyle relay to clinch the win. The men had clinched the win with a couple events left. Final scores Men: 183-100 Women: 158-141 War Eagle!

TrumanCrockett 0
http://www.auburntigers.com/allaccess/?media=363363 Brett Hawke (HC) previews the final dual meet of the season as both the men and women host the ever threatening and our somewhat heated rival in swimming, Florida Gators. They do not like us because we take recruits from Florida and our men are going for 17 straight SEC Championships and UF wants to knock us off that top podium because they have finished second a ton. It is senior day so they will recognize our seniors at the meet. UF is ranked 7th and AU 9th in mens. UF is ranked 9th and AU 4th in womens. Both the men and women are looking to go undefeated in dual meets, something that does not happen very often according to Coach Hawke. Get out and support them if you will be in town! War Eagle! TrumanCrockett 0
Quick Update: Men are up to fifth rank, only UF ahead of us in SEC at 4. This is due to men losing to the Gators in the dual meet I mentioned before. Women beat the UF women. Here is a recap of that meet, our Senior Day: http://www.auburntig.../012613aaa.html http://www.ncaa.com/...swimming-men/d1 Women are up to third in the nation, top SEC team and behind only perennial powers USC and Stanford. Edit: Oh and the women went undefeated in dual meets this year. Men missed it with the one loss to UF. http://www.ncaa.com/...imming-women/d1 Shaping up to be a fun NCAA Championship and I will try to remember to let you guys know when the SEC and NCAA Championships are coming up. War Eagle!
