I don't do cake. My wife buys me a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts (plain glazed) every year, stacks them up in the shape of a cake, and puts a few candles in them.

But to answer your question, I'm 34. Old enough to remember Jordan-Hare Stadium before either upper deck was built and to have attended the only game we lost in the 1983 season (to Texas) and the game that clinched the SEC for us that same season at Sanford Stadium in Athens, GA.

Some other things I'm old enough toremember that some of you youngsters may or may not be:

* 8 track tapes

* No compact discs

* the first VCRs (including Beta versions)

* Pong

* Rotary dial phones (touch tone was relatively new)

* no cable TV

* Elvis still being alive

* Jimmy Carter as President
