What an idiot you are WarTim! The post was an FYI so you could see how Southern voters ranked Auburn. If you got your head out of your :moon: you'd see that Paul Gattis, Huntsville (Ala.) Times, Ted Lewis, Rick Bozich, The Courier-Journal, Louisville, Ky.The Times-Picayune, New Orleans, Joe Person, The State, Columbia, S.C., Bob Thomas, Florida Times Union, Edgar Thompson, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post, and Michael Wallace, The Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Miss. - all writers who cover the SEC beat have Auburn ranked #3 in their final AP ballot.

what's really interesting is we didn't really pull our region (southeast). there were alot of #3's on there from around here when I looks like the 2 other teams pulled their regions with #1 votes. We got alot of love in the west.

Guest Tigrinum Major

Anyone else notice that UT was ranked anywhere from Number 11 to Number 21? Still think using the polls are a good idea?

So is the Southeast just THAT competitive that the region won't even show full support for a southeastern team?? I mean what does that say?

it seems for the most part regional bias played favor for usuc and oklahomo.

i can't believe an alabama reporter did not vote auburn #1. what a jerk! does this guy have ties to california?

you also have to love the guy from the clarion-liar (jackson, ms) voting us third. he's an ole miss writer for the liar. he's still bitter at tubby. i'm surprised we cracked the top three with him and gattis. those guys are scum b/c they put their bias and personal dislike in the way of the goals of 18-21 year old men.
