It'a solid but not special class yet. Their average grade per recruit on the composite is only 14th in the nation & 4th in the SEC right now. It's a good bit below their class last year which was 4th in the nation & 2nd in the SEC in those important categories.

Sorry, my first sentence used crappy terminology. LSU has not signed anyone yet. I was referring (with crappy terminology) only to commitments and commenting on the fact (yes, it is a fact) that they received 5 very solid commitments in 5 days and are doing quite well in recruiting right now. And I pointed out that signing day is a long way off.
