Is JFIII going to be the starting QB for the  game with LSU?  If so, Gus needs to have some plays with short to medium pass plays so that their defense cannot load up in the box.  If he can hit enough passes to make the defense respect his arm and his legs.

I agree, which means Gus will continue to run straight up the middle on 1st down, attempt back to back 40+ yard bombs, then punt.  Rinse and repeat this 3 times, and that is the script for the first 3 series.  Then we'll just start doing statue of liberty plays, and screens.  Hope the defense can score some points for us.

And he needs Pettway lined up behind him and KJ in motion coming into the backfield too for three potential run options... plus both KP and KJ sneaking out of the backfield catching passes.

MSU had some success with slowing down LF. Put Derrick or Monty on him and make him pay a huge price for a 3 yard gain. We need to play angry like Louisville did in their game with FSU last Saturday. We do this, and we will have a huge win and will be able to roll Toomer's till  4:00 am.

As long as it's not the same pass plays they are currently running. aTm stopped that pretty quick on Saturday and nothing else was working with the short passes. The field has to be opened up for Sean and John.

I hope we don't have anyone running their mouth this week about how easy it is to stop Fournette.

Pat is telling Gus that he is embarrassing his beloved University and if it does not stop he will find himself driving a U-Haul to Arkansas for a High School coaching gig.

We only have 10 pass routes to run

Awesome! Our offense is twice as complicated as I thought it was:laugh:

No, you were right with your original thought. @augolf1716 was counting the the same 5 routes to the left and adding the same 5 routes to the right to make 10 total routes.

We need to keep this one around 13-10 or 9-6. If LSU scores 20 we lose.
