The early signing period really did a number on the drama of these last few weeks.  Trying to get excited about 3 or 4 spots left...but the activity level around here seems a bit subdued.

In our case, at least, these last three or four spots could be the difference between a very fine recruiting year and a crop that blows the roof off, so it's interesting to watch. I suspect it will finish somewhere in the middle of the two.

It's been suggested on various threads here but Keith is now confirming we have 26 spots available in 2018. (Speculation is, Carlito Gonzalez ending up w/ Memphis makes spot #26). That's pretty sweet news & confirmation IMO! Come on down Mr. Langham!

Shocked no one is going to be at Georgia or Auburn. We have had a espn reporter for signing day on location at AU for every year of the Gus era I believe.

It's in the OP on this thread as well.

Can't. He's enrolled at UGA.

Hey Ellitor.....I just saw that Anthony Schwartz is showing in Crystal Ball is 83% Auburn and 17% Florida. Do you know what is going on?  I thought he was a 100% lock. Florida is becoming a major pain.

I see a few of our hard commits have a small percentage of other teams listed by them. I hope this is nothing to be overly concerned about. What is your take on this Ellitor?  Thanks again for your help with this. I will be so glad when we have all signed and in the books come NSD!

Does anyone know what might be up with Anthony Schwartz ?  I say a crystal ball that has him 83% Auburn and 17% UF. Tannor is showing now 63% Auburn and the rest UF and foggy. Florida is starting to get on my nerves!

They are old predictions & have absolutely no current relevence just as it is w/ Schwartz.

On Tannor the picks are relevent. He may be looking for a better depth chart than AU. Both UF & Nebraska are in it.

After today does it go back to no contact with recruits until signing day or can they be contacted this week?

No visits or face to face contact of any kind. Coaches may call or text recruits during a dead period.  So it is not really a dead period.

During a quiet period, a college coach may only have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents on the college’s campus.  A coach may not watch student-athletes compete (unless a competition occurs on the college’s campus) or visit their high schools. Coaches may write or telephone college-bound student-athletes or their parents during this time.
