Snopes has always done a great job of citing its sources so others can research the facts.  Ditto for Politifact.  I've never known either to be wrong.

As long as I can check their sources and discover the facts for myself, I'm not going to worry that some of their staff members are (shock!) humans with flaws.  The question is:  Are their stories flawed?  And because of the nature of their reporting, the reader can easily double-check that.

I said, just so you know. These folks arent necessarily great at making decisions and if you read the accusations of stealing and mis-dealing money from the site, then you get the drift.

We shouldn't expect them to "make decisions",  just research the facts.

I think everyone that read Snopes over the years understands that there has been some instances of their being human as well. Not many mind you, but enough to not take Snopes as infallible. We humans are great at...being human.
