Rep. John Lewis has passed away at 80

80 is a pretty good shift, and given what he accomplished I hope he died proud after a life well lived.

He's a good example of the sort of historical figure that deserve a statue. 

A great choice to replace some of the Confederate statues.

Don't forget Reverend C.T. Vivian - on the same day as Lewis.

These are the sort of people who used to get the Presidential Medal of Freedom prior to Trump.
