I like how the SEC lined it up. It gives teams time to get through the wave of students first setting foot on campus, creating that first peak of infection, and especially when there will surely be another peak after students get back from the Labor Day holiday. Starting around Sept 26 gave SEC that cushion, I hope. Big 12 starting 2 and 3 weeks earlier I think set them up for more cancellations. Luckily it wasn't a conference game cancelled. They were suppose to play NC ST this weekend but NC had to cancel due to the virus. Now VT has had to cancel the next weeks game with Virginia. So some ACC teams will have already played 2 games even before VT gets to play.
Dual-Threat Rigby 8,674
unless Auburn won, ofc, this is why I think a postseason is just for fun. I really don't think it should mean much. So many different teams and regions are going to be playing whack a mole with quelling covid cases all year

Few fans, no tailgating, practice is all over the place with players out, no telling who will be able to play in which game, just seems like a bad idea having a playoff based on this season. I'm just going to try and enjoy the games whatever they look like.
