Chris Wallace says he left Fox after people started to question the truth.

Chris Wallace says he left Fox News after people at the news organization began to question matters of truth, like the Jan. 6 riot and whether the 2020 election was stolen.

“I just no longer felt comfortable with the programming at Fox," Wallace told The New York Times in an interview published Sunday.

If more people would take the time to consider his comments and give them the weight they deserve, a more reasonable conversation could take place concerning American politics and policy.

Chris Wallace was one of the last real, respected tv journalists that worked for Fox "News".  It wasn't surprising to see him jump ship.

Simply put, Wallace didn't believe that Fox News was a place where serious journalism or news could be carried out or discussed anymore.

So he went to CNN the arbiter of truth. Yes that makes sense now.

I mean he was at FoxNews for over 15 years, so it’s not like the guy has ever had very high standards for his employer.

it’s just that Fox’s propaganda and anti-truth behaviors became so bad lately that it he viewed CNN as a better option.

He won't be told what to say and not to say at CNN.  That may not seem like much, but it is clearly a step above Fox.

There is such a big gap between one being a liberal leaning news organization and the other using their entire afternoon/evening slate to cultivate a following by way of shock jock programming with little to no regard for the factual basis of what they discuss.  Yes, CNN race baits and that disgusts me as well.  I'm not defending CNN or any other news outlet, but Fox, OAN and Newsmax are shameless in the way they profit from exploiting the fears and anger of their viewers.  They use constant themes to build animosity and an us vs them mind set that would be laughable if it wasn't so harmful to the country.
