If Harsin leaves here, it will not be because he got a job back on the west coast. The ONLY WAY he would ever do that is if he builds Auburn into a formidable force year in and year out and a USC or Washington decided to break the bank and go after him. . . but even then, Auburn would match or better the offer, and he would almost certainly remain where he already has things built. Because if he leaves of his own volition without having made Auburn a winner, he'll always have it thrown in his face that he couldn't win in the SEC.

Why in the world are we having threads like this right before the season opener? Why not get fired up for our coach and these players? Let this chapter at least play out and see what happens. I know it’s an internet board and some think it’s fun to throw out crazy scenarios , but geez, the season is about to start on our beloved Tigers and we’re talking about our coach leaving. There’s a lot of better things to be focused on right now and I can’t wait for the season to start.
