Auburn?

Maybe we can cover? 🤷‍♂️

I’m not panicked, but we need to see a little proof of concept asap.

im most disappointed in Peyton’s play, because I thought we’d be a tough out for other teams. Unfortunately, we just don’t seem to have a good idea about what we are doing on O.

Think Holden gets the reigns this year?

Hugh Freeze has had alot of success against a Kirby Smart defense. Freeze beat Alabama in 2014 and 2015 with Kirby as their DC. Then in 2016, Freeze beat Georgia 45-14 in Kirby's first year as HC. That loss is still the biggest loss, points wise, Georgia has had under Kirby Smart. So Freeze beat a Kirby Smart led defense 3 years in a row but it won't happen this saturday.

Georgia - 31

Auburn - 9 (we get 3 fg's)

I don't think Georgia's offense is nearly as good as it's been the last 2-3 years, particularly at QB.  But I don't think our offense will have its issues sorted out in time to take advantage of it.

The defense will play well and keep it close for a while, but UGA wins comfortably.

Georgia 24
Auburn 10

I don’t think so. 2 reasons:

1) he’s inconsistent and inaccurate also.

2) it would be like saying , ok Harsin picked a better qb than i did.

Do you think Thorne improves?

it isn't.  We'll be the best defense they've played all year.  Their scores get lopsided mostly b/c they wear down teams eventually.  They've started really slow every game.  I could see this being close, like 10-3 or something going into half then just like last week they'll eventually hit a few big plays and it'll get away from us.

Now obviously the equation changes if the defense can do more than just play well, but tilt the playing field in our favor with a defensive TD or very short field or two for the offense.  Or a special teams score.  If those things happen and the score it tight in the 4th, the home field advantage I think becomes a huge factor.  I just don't have much confidence we'll get the opportunity.

Given the opportunity I'm not sure I have any confidence in us actually succeeding

I hope this isn’t a consideration, not at this point.

Seriously…good grief, that would be extreme insecurity.

And we’d never give Haskins credit…clearly HG was Bobo’s choice, and Bobo was forced on Hinson.

Alright, I will say it.  I think if Auburn can put it together offensively we can win this one at home.  I have watched the UGA games and have not been very impressed.  Have we seen this year Auburn put its offense together?  No.  Do we have the ability?  We shall see come Saturday.

I like TitanTiger’s pick.   I think it’ll be closer than folks think, but UGA’s depth tiring Auburn at the end.

34-13 UGA

UGA - 47

AU - 13

We're hapless and Kirby likes to run it up against us.

I don’t think this is possible plausible this year. I thought we could get 7, maybe 8 wins this season. I don’t see us going bowling this year.

I don’t even plan on watching a second of this game. Look forward to reading about/hearing Eugene Asante doing something awesome. Hopefully he doesn’t get hurt. Hopefully we limit injuries as much as possible. Perhaps we could set an NCAAF field goal record, that’s about all I expect.
