Thanks for the link!

KI has been my favorite player since this summer. I don't know if my sudden support for him was a guess or if I really had a reason but I do know that I was the only one of my friends that gave him any credit. That's no longer so. He's just awesome.

But really, thanks for the link. Best thing I've seen today. :)

man my man tommy t always has a good back. he just cut back for another td. he will have 200 yards in this game

one of the better backs i've seen this year. fast, strong and elusive. what a combination. this dude is scary good. their offensive line is pretty impressive too.

Kenny Irons was at S.CAR until Lou Holtz signed some hot-shot RB out of High School (Summers). Lou started him ahead of Irons in his first game ever (Recruiting promise) and Irons decided that if Lou would turn on a player like that he didn't want any part of him.

- Irons went to Auburn.

- That freshman was kicked off the team for smoking dope this summer.

Poetic justice.

I went to the UGA-Auburn game tonight, and I have seen some other games this season in person..and this kid Irons is the best I have seen ahead of McFadden from Arkansas who can just fly. Kid can flat out ball, and the cuts he makes are so quick, and he runs so powerful. I love his nasty attitude when he has the ball in his hands too, he can juke you or he can try and run right over you. Tough RB and a flat out baller.

Let me clarify, I am talking best RB I have seen in person this season out of Irons, Tyrone Moss, Charlie Jones, Mike Imoh, Cedric Humes, James Davis, Thomas Brown, McFadden from Arkansas.

64 rushes 401 yards 3 TDs

I dont care how much hype Bush gets. I'd much rather have Irons and his ability to shoulder the load and run the damn ball for the whole game against elite defenses instead of that overhyped nancy boy who skirts around the edges and runs receiving patterns from the slot. lol.

i'm sorry but Auburn has been Miami's equal .... with RBs if you want to go back or in recent history.

BTW, IRONS is an F'n STUD !!!! best back in the SEC and quite possibly my All American with Reggie Bush.

I think over the years the schools rival each other for RB's. Before Bo AU also had Cribbs, Brooks and Andrews basically in the same backfield. After Bo they had a kid named Brent Fullwood who GB took in the 1st round but the kid never got over some early injuries IIRC.

Kenny Irons looks just like Cadillac to me. I love both him and McFadden for ark. McFadden is built and can burn.

Irons is bigger than Caddy even though Caddy always played bigger than he really is.

Michael Bush, Reggie Bush and Irons are probably the top 3

Calhoun (CU recruit transfered to Wisky) is a statistical phenom.. but the little guy isn't at that level just cuz of his size. But I LOVE him... who else do you know at 5'9 just only around 200 lbs who can carry that rock 40+ and get you 200+ yards w/ 4 TDs !

Still .. I like the BIG BOYS...

Now Quick, name a top flight back in the Big 12 !!!!! (not as easy as it once was)

I love this Irons kid. He's done it in big games.

And calling the 200 yds. on TV while walking into Death Valley - wow!

I can't say I've seen the McFadden kid from Arkansas do that yet.

We got the ultimate compliment last week after the Kentucky win (where a brand new back got over 160 yards)...

Thanks for all the kind words guys. We're all really proud of Kenny considering all that he went through to make it onto the field. I think everybody saying what all we lost to the NFL last year and how much our offense would suck has really motivated the squad. It appears that Carlos Rogers was a much bigger loss of our four first rounders. Y'all are playing some great ball as well. Isn't it frustrating starting an all new backfield? Man, if I could have that opening day loss back...

I love Irons, but if you are going to call Auburn RB U, you cannot include him, he is still in college and has not even finished a season yet. Then, UM could count Tyrone Moss. Irons is a stud, but hold off on some of this stuff for now. All I know is that Auburn must have some good OL play as well.
