Tuberville enters the Alabama game with a record of 59-26-0.

Dye was 62-21-2 during his first 85 games at Auburn.

Shug Jordan compiled a 57-25-3 record during his first 85 games on the Plains.

Tuberville is 38-19-0 in SEC play.

Dye was 41-15-1 during his first 57 conference games.

Jordan was 32-22-3.

Tuberville and Dye basically competed against the same level of competition with Auburn facing a win pct of .566 under CTT and .568 under Dye. Jordan had it a tad easier with a .554 competition.

Tubs is 41 wins from overtaking Dye in overall victories. With his current average of 8.4 wins per season, Tuberville should accomplish this task in 5 more years, which would place him in his 12th year at Auburn. An interesting not of improvement is Tuberville's record from season 4 thru 7, where he has compiled a record of 38-10-0 with at least two more games to play in 2005. Dye was 36-11-2 during his run from season 4 thru 7. Dye went 20-4-0 during the next two seasons ( 1988 & 1989 ) so CTT will have to keep it going in 2006 and 2007. Next year already appears to be a "banner" season with what we have returning in 2006. Hopefully we can keep our coaching staff together for the next several years.
