BCS is a joke!!!!

The BCS computer polls give us no credit. I don't understand how the computers have us ranked:

CM RB A&H KM JS PW

14th 5th 12th 11th 15th 12th

I don't understand how we are 7 in both the human polls and we are 12th overall in the BCS computers. There is something seriously wrong with this. Most of the sports writers in the nation think that we are the best team not in a BCS bowl and the main reason that we aren't in one is because of the BCS rankings.

Does the "penalty" for playing a 1AA opponent hurt that much? (The loss to GT can't hurt that much, since miami has one as well).

Does anyone know if the algorythms for these polls are published? I understand that Sagarin has a user-input parameter to "rank" conferences' relative strengths, which pumps up the Big Ten and penalizes the SEC. Perhaps other "ciomputer" polls have similar shady human inputs as well? Garbage in, garbage out.....
