Are Christian Conservatives Souring on GOP?

Are Christian Conservatives Souring on GOP? There has been much speculation in the media and blogs (both left & right), but if so what will be the end result? If so, is there any way they could or would embrace the democrats? I don't see them just staying at home and not voting.

I am to some degree. But until a viable third party that better reflects my views comes along, I still will tend to vote for Republicans. Though I do plan to vote for a Democrat in our governor's race. Gov. Bredesen has done a good job overall and I see no need to replace him with someone else.

The only way Christian conservatives will vote demoncrat in a national election is if that candidate is pro-life and anti-abortion. We are not real happy with the fiscal decisions being made, but that tends to be pointing mostly to congress and not the white house.
