Here's hoping Smelley gets it going and quick. The Lamecocks are truly a bad program and maybe even beyond what Spurrier can overcome. They have years of no tradition and losing to overcome. I think they have been to what 5 bowl games ever?

I agree but remember The Old Ball Coach went to Duke and turned them around. I think that time is Going to be biggest enemy. They were so bad when Steve got there, it might take them four or five years to really compete.

They may have been bad...but not like Ole Miss/Miss St bad. I mean hell, they went to a bowl game last year.
