Favorite TV Shows Past and Present

Just to keep the line going, and since movies are covered, I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone's favorite TV shows are from wherever and whenever.

My list will peg me nerd, but so be it...

Doctor Who (new ones... never really seen any of original 26 years)

Any Star Trek series other than the original (original has über cheese factor)

House

Mythbusters

Everybody Loves Raymond

Without a Trace

Southpark

and when I was little I thought Knightrider was the shizzle, but have since seen it and discovered that all shows made in the 80s are very cheesy.

There are probably more I'm not thinking of, but it is a start.

My all time favorite show is Sanford and Son. Some of my other favorites are The Andy Griffith Show (especially the BW episodes with Barney Fife) and All in the Family. My favorites from modern day are CSI (I like them all but like the original the best), Cold Case, Without A Trace, Forensic Files, and most of the programming from the History Channel.

I have to agree with you about the shows from the 80’s. I loved Knight Rider and The A Team when I was a kid.

Good thing you are still rehabbing? Otherwise, no work would get done. Don't Dog come on at like midnight.

Surface looked like it might be promising. Invasion got a little hanky there at the end. Although the brother in law was a hoot.

Wonder where Stargate SG1 will land. Surely they won't kill it.

As a kid they used to show reruns of:

My Favorite Martian

Gilligan's Island

I dream of Jeannie.

It wasn't until I got a little older that I learned to appreciate Ginger, Mary Ann, and Jeannie.

Well, my time is not spent totally doing nothing even though Blonde Wasabi will beg to differ because of my lack of housecleaning skills. While I am not able to return to full time employment just yet, I have been using my time wisely and furthering my education as a full-time student this past year. I was mostly taking web based courses because my surgeries and recovery kept me from being able to sit in classes. However, since I am progressing along in my rehab, this semester I am actually taking three classes on campus twice a week and taking one web based class. Those first couple of classes were tough seeing how that is the most I have done in a week since my surgeries.

As far as all those shows go, that is why God made DVRs. :big: Between Blonde Wasabi and me, we do have to keep an eye on the space left on the DVR, because it has gotten pretty close to getting full. We have a bad habit of letting a months episodes of a show or shows get recorded before finally sitting down and watching them to get caught back up.

Dog does come on late, but I am a night owl and can only sleep for 4-5 hours a night. That is one of the few shoes I watch during its regular time slot and do not record.

Stargate SG-1 has only 10 episodes left and it is done as a series. For the last two seasons, each was to supposed to have been the last, but they cast, except for Richard Dean Anderson, kept agreeing to one more year. But this year is the last for sure. It will live on as syndicated reruns and that is it.
