Like all public officials, Cheney puts his money into a blind trust before taking the oath of office. I'm no fan of his, but c'mon.

That he might. But, then again, I'm sure Dick Cheney knows cagey investors by the score. In any event, it is federal law that any elected official must put their assets into a blind trust, and cannot know the disposition of those assets--only their overall performance. This is to prevent senators on the Armed Service Committee from using inside knowledge or influence to buy stock in McDonnell Douglas, for example.
