Select a Candidate

Ok gang I think this link or one like it was posted earlier but...

I would like to see everyone actually take the quiz honestly and indicate or post their results. It may suprise you which party is the best fit for your views.

I don't have my results, but it came up that I was a best fit for the Green Party with I think at the time Dean a close second...

It will give you a percentage with your ideal canidate mine was only 66% it should be 100% but what that tells me is I have some messed up political views and there isn't a match for me.

Candidate Selector

When I vote I will look at all the facts and make a selection for whom I think will do the best job and who matchs my views will help me reach my goals. This means I don't vote on my party lines but for whom I want to see in office or against whom I do not want to see (basically lessor of two evils ala Bush/Gore.

For this to work we all need to be honest and keep the woodshed out of it

Have Fun :P

ole david's a little commie ;)

Thanks ole prof!

I think my conservative fiscal policies and ideology get lost in my church work sometimes. I guess the social issues get me. :(

My social positions probably impacted my results as well. Mainly because I think there are several social positions that should carry no political weight, but others have made them into the biting issues of the day...

I also left the little "exclusion" indicators checked, so third party candidates were excluded - probably a libertarian would have come in second if I had not done that.

Very interesting - thanks for posting.

I'm not really surprised. I said all along that Lieberman would be the only Demo I would vote for. Apparantly Kerry is very similar. But, it seems Bush is the winner.

I clicked on the "ideal candidate" link and it said

If your top score is in the 50’s, your top candidate is the "lesser of evils".

Couldn't have put it better myself seeing as how I am not registered with either political party.
