That would be an interesting squad of players right there.

Note.....it shows Ingrams total yards instead of his yards on the ground. Toby G almost had as many yards on the ground alone as Ingram had combined.

SI has Arenas included as a CB, which is, of course, ridiculous. If they had placed him as a kick returner it could have floated.

Uh, what do you base that on? He is an awesome db.

It's hard to believe that South Florida and Bama was his only 2 scholarship offers. He's turned into a great player. If you could go back in time Auburn could have used him as a kick returner and coverage man bad this year.

You're on good drugs. Arenas is an awesome DB.

Feel free to reference the play he made on his INT vs Florida.

At first glance, I'd think you were right. Because Peterson is a REALLY good corner.

But here's the stats:

Peterson:

47 Tackles 0 Sacks 2 Int

Arenas:

65 Tackles 5 Sacks 3 Int

Please note that the bammers only care about statistics when it looks good for their guys.

Sure...statistics...

Or heisman trophies.

What, no Julio?

No. He was too busy catching another first down against Auburn to accept another award.

And barners only care for statistics when it looks bad for Bama. :poke:

Well as the poster said, it brings out the truth in the Ingram vs Gerhardt discussion.

The only stat that really matters when discussing Ingram and Gerhart

Ingram - 1 Heisman

Gerhart - 0 Heisman

:poke::poke:

Just kidding really. Gerhart is a GREAT back and had he won, he would have been very deserving.

Mark Ingram is very deserving also regardless of what aunation thinks.

What happened to the "We don't care about Heismans" crap the bamzos have been spewing for decades? Curious turn of events here....

The biggest joke on there is Tiffin, by the way. Probably the fifth or sixth best kicker in the SEC. His numbers were bolstered a bit by bammer's sputtering red-zone offense. I think the voters this year were particularly lazy and didn't want to do the work to look around and make legitimate selections.

Tiffin was pretty good on FGs - a whopping TWENTY-NINE (29) of 33. But, if the stats I saw eere correct, he MISSED THREE EXTRA POINTS. That ought to be an automatic 'DQ,' for A-A purposes.

Also curious about Arenas (great football player, no doubt - but FIRST TEAM A-A DB?) and Mike Johnson (really?). Not exactly a bumper crop of offensive guards when Johnson and some guy from Idaho are at the top . . .

If what AUnation thinks agitates you why do you come here?

Actually, this site is humorous.

On that we agree. And so many bammers present makes it even more humorous.

I agree on Tiffin. He didn't deserve it if simply on his XPs alone. You can't miss three and deserve AA.

I disagree on your Mike Johnson comments. The guy was a top flight offensive guard last season. And he had a great year. He'll be one of the first guards drafted. He was very deserving.
