final tigers fall to ole miss 85-75. Waller had 29 points. EIGHT 3's and we wasted it away. Crap. That's a game we should have won by 15-20. Absolute total collapse.

AU lead from the 19:14 point of the 1st half @ 3-2 until the 3:21 remaining in 2nd half when Ole Miss took the 71-69 lead. I was tracking the game on ESPN Gamecast so had stats the whole time. The ENTIRE game Ole Miss had a FG% in the mid to low 30s, but b/c of the final 3 and a half minutes of the game they ended the game at 45.5% FG. AU shot well from 3 point line 13 of 30 for 43.3%, but overall FG% of 36.3%, which means we shot and abysmal 9 of 31 for 29% on 2 point shots. The defense suddenly just disappeared in the final minutes of the game!! OM dominated the boards with 50 rebounds, 15 of which were on the offensive glass compared to AU's 29 total rebounds with 7 offensive. AU won the TOs finishing with 12 for the game to OM's 15, but that meant little to nothing.

Absolutely terrible!!!!
