AU vs Paine College Exhibition Game

I went to the game last night. I'm not good at judging basketball but here are a few comments:

--My record watching games in the new arena is now 4-0. Think I should hit Coach Barbee up for free tickets?

--although it was an exibition game, it was disappointing to see only about 300 people there when it was free.

--I think the team is improved and has more talent and depth than last year but still has some of the same problems needing work, namely free throws. I don't know what the final per-cent was but Varez Ward was one for six. And as Coach Barbee said after the game, they still have a problem "finishing." They played 100% better in the first half than the second

--I would guess we finish around 8th in the SEC this year.

Yeah........free 300 or so didn't cut it. I agree with you on what happened. I think this team will improve a lot throughout the season, and by the second half of the SEC season they could be a dangerous bunch.
