Rain forces Auburn indoors Tuesday morning

When media first walked in, Auburn’s offense was doing a mock drive with three receivers, one tight end and one running back. Kiehl Frazier was taking snaps, and he was in shotgun. The receivers were Emory Blake, Travante Stallworth and Quan Bray. Philip Lutzenkirchen was the tight end, and Tre Mason was at tailback. Stallworth lined up opposite Blake. Bray played mostly slot. Oddly, it looked quite Gus Malzahnish.

  • More shuffling in the linebackers. During formation drills, it was Daren Bates and Kris Frost on the strong side, Jake Holland and Cassanova McKinzy in the middle and Justin Garrett and Jonathan Evans on the weak side.
  • Shane Callahan appears to be taking over the role as the center in this year’s 7-man offensive line class, a good thing considering how crowded the rest of the line is at the moment.

We really could have used an extra 5 to 10 yards past each end zone. How many kids are going to smash in to that wall trying to make the team? No big deal but come on man.
