RVW is a mess. I agree with Alito that the original structure was weak at best. However the reality is that abortions will happen even if illegal. I would suppose that most states will enact laws that leave Abortion upto 12-15 weeks alone. The complete bans are not going to be complete. The rich will get their daughters there’s.

we do need M4A and care for the unborn and born as well. If you don’t want to care for the babies then stfu.

we have som many options here  Different kinds of sex habits, really using birth control, etc. This is not the end of the world. Although, you know the summer is going to be hyper violent. Cities will burn again and the “mostly peaceful” protests will come back.

I know lots of men that are hoping women start burning their bras over the summer... some of them anyway... lol.  Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Addenda: If you are the father of the child, you should be on the hook for all of the $$$ responsibility.  It does indeed all start with a penis.

My biological mother was a free skipping wild ass who had five children….none of us have the same father. It’s not always the penis. Asexual pregnancy doesn’t exist in humans.

If you lived in a rural area, she would have set you up right to run for political office.  You would be related to most everyone.  LOL

my ex numba two who is fighting for her life with cancer said anyone who uses abortion for birth control are completely stupid and uncaring. she said any woman can go to a planned parenthood and get free birth control. hse was a surgical tech and she said women harm their bodies with abortion.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'I'm sorry but if you wore a mask for two years to prevent Covid you can wear a condom during sex to prevent pregnancy!!!'

I shouldn't apply them to that situation?

So….my comment was relatively brief. Why did you not reference the entire comment? Your point certainly has a degree of merit…as a society we all have some skin in the game. However, to my point…it is neither my business nor yours to tell a woman what she may or may not do with her body, her healthcare, and her personal situation.

ted cruz does not care about those babies and here is proof:

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) attacked Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for taking paternity leave.

Buttigieg and his husband Chasten welcomed twins Joseph August and Penelope Rose in August last year.

Cruz claimed that Buttigieg took paternity leave in the middle of the greatest supply chain crisis ever seen.

He alleged that “Two years ago most people didn't know much about our supply chain, didn't ever really focus on the fact that we had a supply chain until Biden and the Socialist came in and screwed it up.”

Cruz said that working men and women were impacted the most during the crisis and that the problem could be fixed by cutting taxes and regulations. He went on to praise the Trump administration for having the lowest unemployment rates in the last 50 years.

The immediate cause of the supply chain crisis that began just after the pandemic hit was the sharp increase in the spending ability of the consumers. People couldn’t venture out much due to COVID-19 restrictions and wanted to buy more goods for home and personal use. This led to more demand but operations slowed at all stages due to the pandemic.

Howard Stern slams potential Roe v. Wade repeal: 'If guys got raped and pregnant, there'd be abortions available on every corner'

Wed, May 4, 2022, 2:42 PM

Howard Stern ripped into the Supreme Court justices potentially voting to overturn Roe v. Wade.

In the wake of the leaked majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito, the Howard Stern Show host defended abortion rights on Tuesday's show. He also suggested that should those rights be revoked, any unwanted babies born as a result should be "allowed to live at the Supreme Court Building with those justices."

"You know if guys got raped and pregnant, there'd be abortions available on every corner," Stern told his SiriusXM listeners. "Every street corner you'd have a different clinic that would take care of the problem."

His co-host, Robin Quivers, agreed, saying they'd be "as plentiful as porta-johns."

Stern went on to say, "How women vote for this agenda is beyond me. Who the hell wants to carry a baby that you do not want? And, again, the people who carry these babies who don’t want them don’t raise these kids and then we’re stuck with them. Society is stuck with them. The people who are anti-abortion, they don’t give to charity. They don’t raise these kids. I don’t know who they think is going to raise them."

He said that "If men got pregnant, it would be a different story. No man would want to be raped and then have to carry his rapist's baby. Men were ready to tear this country down because we asked them to wear a mask, let alone have some baby they don't want."

Stern talked about how we got to this point with "radical Supreme Court justices who all agreed that abortion was wrong" and the "minority viewpoint running this country" under the flawed electoral college system.

"How much more are we going to take?" he asked. "How much more of this bulls*** that some hillbilly in South Dakota gets a more important vote cause he lives in South Dakota. Let me tell you something: Here’s what I say. All the unwanted children should be allowed to live at the Supreme Court Building with those justices — and they should raise every one of those babies. That crackpot Clarence Thomas and that wife and all of them. They can raise those babies that they want."

He also talked about remembering "the days before Roe v. Wade. I was young," said the 68-year-old, "but I do remember the horror. I can name 50 horrible things that happened when women can't have abortions. A lot of them deal with suicide. A lot deal with them getting these babies away from them. A lot of horrors begin with no abortion — not to mention that rich women always were able to get abortions. They have doctors that do it in secret. It's the poor that can't get help. It's going to be a nightmare in this country now."

Stern went on to express worry that gay marriage would be next, saying, "All the inroads and all the progress that was been made will be gone."

Many celebrities are speaking out since the document was leaked by Politico on Monday night and confirmed by Chief Justice John Roberts. Roberts, who called for an investigation into the leak, noted that the draft ruling does not represent the court’s final decision.

Ana Navarro, a Republican, said on Don Lemon Tonight that Republicans have "mistresses that get pregnant" too — and they'll regret overturning Roe.

Whoopi Goldberg used The View to give a fiery speech, saying she fears going back in time to when people were "tripping over women in bathrooms [who were] giving themselves abortions." She added, "Getting an abortion is not easy. Making that decision is not easy. It's not something people do lightly."

Many other celebrities have weighed in on the topic — and several, including Amy Schumer and Cynthia Nixon took to the streets Tuesday to protest. The official SCOTUS ruling is expected in late June or early July.

someone on the right please answer me this. if you care about abortion so much why are some on the religious right trying to ban birth control as well? i honestly just do not get it. it sounds like you almost want more babies to be aborted. has anyone realized how many abortions birth control saves every year? some of you right wing christians starting to look a hell of a lot like the taliban. i am absolutely furious they are trying this crap as well. and do not tell me it will never happen tell me why this kind of stupid crap even comes up?

The only people I know of on the “right” that have a stance against birth control are elements of the Catholic Church.  Is there something else in particular you’d like to share?   Or is your concern with it not being “free” (i.e. paid for with tax money)?

The Taliban / womens rights comparisons are ridiculously flawed.  What about the rights of the “woman” that is inside the womb?   That is the crux of the whole debate.  The time for “choice & decision” is before CHOOSING intercourse.  Before you jump right to the rape / incest example, if I ceded abortion to victims of rape,, incest and medical necessity would you cede ending abortion for all other cases?   I thought not, so stop using the straw man arguments.

There are 2 fundamental issues that will prevent this “debate” from ever being “solved”:

1) When does life “start” / the rights of the baby vs the rights of the mother

2) The flawed method RvW was adopted and the trampling of states rights by an overstepping Federal gov.   The use of the “ends justifies the means” (by both parties) isn’t as much fun when the show is on the other foot.  This is evidenced by the cries of the left now about the Supreme Court not being legit.  They were OK with it when it suits them, but now you are hearing cries about ending the filibuster and packing the courts.  Had Trump said those same things, you would have lost your mind.

dude you are chewing me out and never answered my question. if you want to ban abortion why try and outlaw birth control. or does a baby magically appear when right then when a man ejaculates. and before you say it is caths why not read some of the info i posted here because i was led to believe it was evangelicals. and what does money have to do with it? and as far as being flawed some churches grant males certain privileges. many churchs do not think women should be pastors. you come off hostile and if i am correct then quit wasting my time. i am looking for info.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?   His point had nothing to do with babies or abortion.  It was that the country is having severe supply chain interruptions and Mayor Pete took 4 weeks of paternity leave.  Sometimes in life you have responsibilities you have to balance.  As a father, I never had the opportunity to knock off for a month when one of my kids was born.  If you’re in a critical role at a critical time you still need to do your job.

this has nothing to do with the issue
