Liberal Hypocrisy is Fueling Inequality

I agree.  Liberal states can do much more to reflect progressive values.  Social justice causes are nice but, economic solutions are the real, long term solutions.

Still, it is undeniable that the "blue" states are subsidizing the "red" states.

Taxation in our country needs to change.  It is far too regressive.  The middle middle class and the upper middle class cannot continue subsidizing the super wealthy.

Middle class people vote, pay their taxes, even donate to candidates or causes but,,, they don't understand the concept of buying politicians.

Middle class people look at the letter next to a name.  The super wealthy do not care about the letter.  They care about the ability to control the individual.

We have legalized political corruption.  Neither party will change much until we restore integrity.

The desire of the current political class is to erode the middle class until it’s no longer worth their attention.

And red states are feeding, clothing and sustaining the blue states.

Or they move from a blue state to a red state.

No. The middle class, relative to the capital class, is already irrelevant, extreme inequality.

Too many look at the bottom of society to see problems.  That is merely where the problems are revealed.

The real problem is at the top, the problem is a political and capital class that cares about nothing other than money and power, no principles, no patriotism, nothing but insatiable greed.

We are too ignorant, too divided to have the ability to stand up to our own oligarchs.  Democracy and capitalism are dead.

We no longer believe in justice, equality, democracy.  We believe might makes right.

Sure, those are the socialist utopias,,, for those with capital, access to capital.  Huge tax incentives, favorable labor laws.  Why be a giver when you can be a taker.

It is a third world mentality.

We are back to the OP.  Washington, taxes, Boeing, South Carolina.  The capitalists aren't competing.  We are competing for the capitalists.

Kentucky isn’t the only red state in the country. Of course several of the old red states are turning purple because of the migration from the north to places like NC, SC, GA, TX and FL to access jobs (or capital).

Either way the divisionist rhetoric won the day here.

Probably referring to natural gas, although it would not surprise me if they try to ban grilling with propane as well.
