the coach has a connection to an agency....hmmm....wonder how deep the rabbit hole goes?....coach funneling money to players....not good, not good at all

Depends on your definition of good :)

A coach loans a player 250 bucks, said player pays it back in a couple of weeks.

This is not nearly as bad as yall were hoping. :)

Yeah, Coach Dye thought the same thing.

Different climate. Different era.

I mean, y'all can get fired up thinking it's related to agent dealings, but they'll have to provide more than a $250 loan that was paid back in a couple weeks time.

And if our compliance dept is making a big deal out of this, I think it speaks to a pretty well run program.

Oh Come BG, you do not place an assistant on administrative leave if that was all he did, and the player paid him back. You, like all other bammers, are very arrogant and believe that nothing will happen. Think again. Bammer's reign on college football is about to end, and your program's cheating ways have finally caught up with you....

The earth opening up and swallowing that hell hole off the face of the planet is what I was hoping for, but this is a start. I can wait for the squeaky clean ones to spout their innocence. It will be fun. Payday loan?

Told you. EVERY bammer fan has it in them, it's just a matter of time before it comes out.

So in other words, when you do it = A-OK. Auburn does it = WORST CHEATERS IN THE WORLD.

Am I right BG?? Cause your first reply in this thread really made me want to tell you take your smug ass back wherever it is you came from.

You'll get ZERO sympathy from any Auburn fans about all of this. The memories of my school being drug through ridiculous amounts of mud all to turn up ZILCH, are still fresh!!

As much as I hate bama, I wish it was anybody but this coach. He and I played football together at Lee Montgomery. He is a good guy and I was proud everytime I saw him on the sideline of a game. I hope this one works out well for him but not so much for bama.

Yep, but just the tip of the iceberg. Key here is that it links the player to the university to an agent. Keep that in mind.

Lack of institutional control for a school that is within the 5-yr window for repeat offender status....this could be really bad. I feel guilty for being so happy about this......not really!!!!

I think you got the last part of that sentence wrong. I think it's a sign that they may very well be in deep do-do.

BG03 take it from BG5 this combined with your other problems with cheating are going to garner lots of attention. This one may be small change but the layers are piling up. When I tell you the whole suit issue is not over believe it. Three seperate instances of paying players wont be over looked. Your teams arrogance has made you many enemy's. Now all of the enemies are going to go after you hard. When the NCAA does get there ( and they will) what they find may be more than little nicky can take.
