The JV team doesn't warrant our help, do they ?

Seriously, this is awkward. We're actively engaged in a military operation in Iraq, but not contractors or press can come in ? Does ALL Americans include the soldiers who are fighting their war for them ?

Don't be conned.

Little kid was used as a prop, after Obama's ' red line in the sand ' threat went laughably unheeded by EVERYONE in Syria.

But go ahead, and try to associate Trump w/ a pic that was taken months before Trump was even elected, and after 7 + YEARS of Obama in office.

Nice out of context bible quote, Red. Well done.

And Berlin doesn't really have any relevance to our nation's borders.

Rich coming from the atheist. It's perfectly in context.

The right likes to claims we're a Christian nation. We're revealing ourselves to be nothing more than a nation full of hypocrites.

Hey, instead of simply declaring it " perfectly " in context, why not take the time to explain to this non believer how a line from a book written 1000's of years ago has 1 damn thing to do w/ what is going on today.

Or do you not comprehend what ' in context ' actually means ?

So, show me up. Explain it to me.

Because we're a majority Christian nation, and the Christian Right is the chief reason Trump is in office.

I spelled it out in the post you quoted, It's the fact that a majority of those that claim to be ever so pious are the ones that chiefly support this measure. Christ was extremely harsh regarding hypocrites, and those supporting it are ignoring Christ's exact words on the matter, picking and choosing through the gospels and the Law and ignoring the inconvenient parts.

They're exhibiting hypocrisy in spades.

And you've still not given context to the quote. Who was the author speaking to ? EVERYONE ? Everywhere ? Or was there some actual context to the comment, as in who was being addressed ?

I've explained this to homer , that yes, our nation was designed by those who were believers. But again, the context of THEIR story needs to be understood before you just casually blanket us a " Christian " nation.  It's not so simple a YES / NO answer.

Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday said they fear President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration “will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism.”

“Our most important allies in the fight against ISIL are the vast majority of Muslims who reject its apocalyptic ideology of hatred," the senators said in a joint statement, using an alternate acronym for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. "This executive order sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country. That is why we fear this executive order may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security."

“I think the effect will probably in some areas give ISIS some more propaganda,” he said.
