Didn't watch the game either but glad to hear Pearl thought the second half effort was unacceptable. 30 pt win but no excuse for a&m to win the second half. These guys better develop that killer instinct soon or they are going to have a lot of losses this year that they'll look back on and say we should have won that one.

Pearl said the lineup change was an "in house" issue.

I don't exactly feel good about the way he used the word "issue".

2nd half effort seemed to be an "issue" as well.

Eh there were in in house issues before now. KD got benched one game for them last year, and he’s still one of the locker room cornerstones. I didn’t watch the interview so I don’t know the tone, but his quotes in general were negative, so I’m sure the tone from that anger just boiled over and magnified the issue. 
 

tl;dr I think the lack of focus is a much bigger problem than the disciplining, although his frustrations were probably multiplied by both

It is at least worth noting that they’ve let go of the rope in almost every game so far coming out of HT. I can definitely understand why that rage is compounding, esp when it already cost you one loss
