I didn’t realize he was still coaching I don’t guess. He’s sure been at it a long time.

I’ve got good memories from Auburn bball games when he was coaching.  Always seemed the handle himself with class as a coach.  Was a cool moment when coastal came to Auburn to play a few years ago.

The NCAA gave Cliff one of the most unfair shaft jobs ever. If they had been even the least bit reasonable, Cliff might still be coaching Auburn. It was another one of those "OK, we've got to kick somebody, lets do Auburn again" deals.

Honestly ok with it in hindsight because if we don't spin out as a program after the Ellis/NCAA thing Bruce likely never gets here and our ceiling as a program remains where Cliff had it.

Even though we lost in the Sweet 16, I still think our 1998-99 team was the most dominant overall team we have ever had. That team just peaked a month too early.
