These umps have not done a good job with these close calls.  Several reviews today and mostly overturn calls.

1 on 3rd with 1 out for Peralta. Pitching change.  Nelia needs to get Packer in at minimum.  Get it in the air to the outfield. Base hit would be perfect.

Peralta gets it in play up the middle and the 2B boots it into outfield allowing Packer to score and Nelia to 2nd. 5-5 tie.  1 out

Being this is a tie ball game in final inning.  Really should just delay it.  Critical part of the game.  But Clemons came back with 2 strikes before walking the bases loaded.  No out.

And a grand slam.  Should never have played this inning.  Dean should have protested it.  But he doesnt care if result is there really in season.  Just wants to test his players. Frustrating.  Was a good game leading to this.  Same thing as yesterday.

So this looks bad on us but by the rules game ends in a tie due to weather.  Last finished inning was 5-5 going into 7th. Now all in all this is the result of should have been but only if we didn't try to play it through.  Honestly not sure if that is Auburn call or not to hold off the start of the 7th or of the ump had to call it off.  Caught a break but I hate it.  Really sad we didn't get better weather.  It was a great game leading up to it.  And wanted to see us play Illinois.  We get good opponents early on and we need to play them.  Not just stick with the lower teams.  We deserve to lose with the brain dead coaching decisions with the game on the line.
