... back to being the old Vandy we all know was hiding somewhere. That was horrible clock management at the end of the game. The could have run 3 or 4 mor eplays if they tried instead of settling for the field goal right away.

I feel bad for Vandy they were doing well, I know they would have lost to LSU but still to beat yourself by not using a timeout so as to not rush a game winning FG, thats just a sucky way to go down.

well for some reason after the FIRST DOWN CATCH the clock ran another 6-8 seconds.....raterh than calling a timeout..they were too busy fusssing voer the clock, and tehn they had to rush to the line just to spike it....so yah, kinda mismanaged the clock, but should have been about 18 seconds left, but the clock kept running until 11 before they stopped teh clock to move the chains

MTSU just owns Vanderbilt...that's 3 in a row for them over VU. That blocked FG was tragi-comic, though. Leave it to the 'Dores to fudge up playing as a favorite...they came out flat as melba toast.
