Have you read Saban's recent comments about leaving Miami? This is from the B'ham News.

"Most people in Alabama don't realize what the Sabans went through leaving the Miami Dolphins - some of the media issues created there with us leaving there and going back to college football," Saban said.

Three things strike me as I read this.

1. It's pretty standard and a good rule to not talk about previous jobs. It's a strange practice for someone who is supposed to be so intensely focused.

2. Nobody wants to hear anyone who left a job paying 3.5 million for a job paying 4 million complain. You especially don't want to hear it after he left the way he did.

3. Bo has the corner on the "speaking in third person" market. "what the Sabans went through" -- that's ridiculous.

Does anyone else get the feeling that all the pressure that the "Sabans" have been under in the last year and a half is beginning to show some cracks. His response to the recruiting allegations and his talk about the Miami deal doesn't show a whole lot of discipline. It just sounds like an angry person.
