Oku Update

A new article has been released by Rivals saying we are, once again, the front runner for David Oku.  Supposedly Oku will announce where he is going sometime next week but no official date has been set.  I'll hold my breath on that one, though.

I have been patiently waiting. IMO, we don't get him, but it would be a HUGE pick up if we do. This could be as big as the DBenton pick up!     ,....... fingers crossed,.......

I believe I heard that Bryce will make his decision on March 12th. I don't know why that date is so special. But anyway, that's what I heard.

Anytime I read something on Oku, it will lst him Oklahoma City. But then there's posts I read about him and it lists David from Midwest, Oklahoma. Which is it? Midwest, Okla. or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Midwest is like a suburb of Oklahoma City.  About 5 minutes from downtown.

He still hasn't made any progress on his decision. It seems more and more like it might be a while. He and Bryce Brown both have until April 1st to sign with a team. I hope we hear something from Oku next weekend. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if he waited until April 1st
