You can follow score updates from the early game between USM and JSU and inning by inning/big play updates from the Auburn game: @AllAboutAuburn

2:11 pm: The USM vs JSU is currently in a rain delay. No start time has been set and this will push the Auburn v. Clemson game back. It would have to rain another 5-6 hours consistently for the games to be canceled today, per the AU Athletic Dept. @AllAboutAuburn

8:00 pm: Gametime set for 8:15 pm at Plainsman Park. Here's a brief recap I posted earlier in the day: http://www.mtrmedia.com/auburn/2010/06/auburn-regional-update-and-recruiting-news.html

9:35 pm: AU down 5-0 through 4 and a half. Overpowered by Clemson thus far, but that's why we play 9, and with our offense, who knows? As I typed that, Tony Caldwell just launched a solo shot over the wall. 5-1, 0 outs, AU still hitting in the 5th.

9:55 pm: Dayton struck out the side in the top half, and Auburn threatened in the bottom half, but Brian Fletcher was robbed of extra bases on a ball hit to the centerfield wall. The Clemson centerfielder slammed into the wall after leaping to make the catch. On a brighter note, Trooper Taylor is in the stands and he had Plainsman Park probably as loud as it's ever been.

10:30 pm: Auburn threatened again with 2 on and 1 out, but Mummey and Fletcher both K to end the inning with no runs for the Tigers. Justin Fradejas was hit by a pitch on a bunt attempt that was originally ruled a foul tip, then after an intense argument from Coach P, was overturned to a HBP, which brought another intense argument from Coach Leggett from Clemson. No ejections were made, but the officiating tonight had been questionable.

Final: 5-2 Clemson. Back with a recap shortly.
