I have. I have gotten to know him and as I said he was no friend of the left. He did nothing wrong at the capitol. He doesn't deserve the treatment he is getting.

Yeah he did, and climbing upon and striking a pose with a statue of Governor Aycock doesn't scream "unwilling participant" like you insinuated.

You've been fed a line. He was a willing participant in the storming of our Capitol and is a criminal.

I can understand why many people see this election as "rigged". but explaining it makes no sense because you're not going to truly listen. Over 74 million people voted for orange (a record for a sitting president). Somehow 81 plus million (a record by far) came out to vote for a candidate who was basically walking dead with a running mate who dropped out early in the race for the same seat because she couldn't garner support from the very people who now see her as a goddess. Irregularities were dismissed left and right for what many see as "preservation" of the nation over law. 100 plus people signed sworn affidavits noting election fraud yet their accounts were washed away like sand on a seashore.

Nothing dumb about that.

You present your personal opinion as proof the election was fraudulent?

That's just sad.

Do you believe that any crap you read on the internet - that caters to your bias - trumps our rule of law?  Apparently you do.

How many lawsuits were brought by the Trump campaign challenging the outcome?  How many succeeded?  Show me just one of these lawsuits that was dismissed for any reason not based on it's merits.

You sound no different from the people who attacked the capitol.  Apparently, you are one of those who truly believe the election was stolen from Trump.  (I think you may be the only one who is still active on this forum that still thinks that.)

What in hell has happened to you emt?  You have changed.

And you're wrong, buying into the lies of a MAGA grifter.

Note the date:

Doesn't really scream "contrition."

I never said I believed anything. You did.....YOU didn't actually read what I posted. You just jumped on me like the typical leftist does. I personally don't care what you think of me at this point. Go find 100 more articles to post about the things you ideologically support or detest.

For all those who are skeptical about Trump's culpability in the capitol riot or who otherwise dispute his role in all this PLEASE listen/read this interview with Adam Kinzinger, a Republican representative:

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/rep-adam-kinzinger-on-why-he-broke-with-republicans-and-voted-to-impeach-president-trump

Rep. Adam Kinzinger on why he broke with Republicans and voted to impeach President Trump

The WaPo article did bring out something that I didn’t realize.  The donations for the bail for the protesters were really not needed, but the MFF was able to release violent criminals on bail for other than the protests.  At least two committed other crimes.  Raising money off of these type of emotional incidences seems shady to me.

You do realize that one is not a "violent criminal" until they have been convicted as such?

Our system of cash bail imposes criminal penalties on many poor people before they even have a chance to be tried.

EMT: "Kash Kelly is a really nice guy that was trying to stop the rioters!"

Dub: *provides pictures and quotes showing him to be a gleeful participant in an insurrection*

EMT: "You're wrong and I'm taking my ball and going home! You guys are so close-minded!"

They crowdsurfed him up there as he was trying to put a stop to it and the thumbs up was simply him thanking them for putting him down gently before he resumed trying to restore order.

First, show me an elected Dem leader saying looting, violence or otherwise illegal protests should not stop. I didn’t see that in your clip— who? When?

If such exists, did they summon folks there to protest or riot and did significant numbers (or any) say they were responding to that call?

There’s ample evidence of Trump summoning this crowd to DC. Republicans funded it, including buses. Trump had Mo Brooks tell the crowd it was time to take names and kick ass. Rudy said it was time for “trial by combat.” Trump said Pence let them down and they needed to all march to the Capitol and he was right there with them. This is a highly abbreviated version. Several rioters have explicitly said they were there at the President’s direction— watch for that defense at trial. One reason they are shocked to be facing accountability is they thought they were only doing what the President asked.

Pelosi telling everyone at a news conference when asked about the rioting, looting and violence stated: “People are gonna do what people do.” no condemnation, no cry for it to stop, nothing.
