My closing case for Deion

Sure, Deion doesn't really know much about football.  He does not have enough experience to truly understand the Xs and Os.   He isn't smart enough to hire the right people.  He has no history of winning.  These opinions hold zero reality.  These opinions lack any sort of evidential basis.

Trying to find reasons not to hire Deion won't work.  There aren't any other than,,, the unknown.  So, to answer your question, what (who is actually correct) is Deion?

Deion is an inspirational leader, winner, successful player and coach.  He is the most credible hire.  He is the hire that will bring the most passion and excitement.  He is the hire with the greatest potential upside.  Considering the level of competition and expectations,,, he is the only name to this point that stands out as transformational.

Thanks for the sarcastic response. BTW, he isn't above reproach when questioning his credibility to be the coach. It's amazing that U followers of Sanders get your back up at the slightest questioning of his credentials.  There is no perfect candidate

Hahahah I actually don’t think you are an idiot . I do think you are consumed with the bliss of Deion. Believe it or not, I am not wedded to Freeze. I would be just as ecstatic if Deion was here but I am also big on what the coaches are doing as coaches. I mean I actually tune in to the games. I was there to watch Jackson State play Bama state. I think it’s a disservice to Deion to throw him in the same realm as Cadillac or even some sort of emotional generator. He knows the game. He knows how to lead as well. That’s why I don’t call him coach prime and if you look at his interviews in the past he doesn’t like it either . He is coach sanders . He isn’t a mascot.

Agree 💯  with all this. If we were to hire Deion,  which I'm cool with BTW. Can u imagine what would happen if we questioned his play calling or decision making. We would have 20 " Mikeys" on this board SMH

Every coach for the first year or 2 has the defend our coach crowd vs the he’s fair game groups no matter what. Now as for Kiffin and his analytics - that would make for interesting discussions by all. Ps if there’s one thing for sure - this board has got the full buffet of personality types

You asked a very important question. Particularly , if we do continue with the air raid, we are going to for sure have to get the recruiting going, starting with QB. I assume his son would be the one to take over that. Then wide receivers ...that would be the next big piece. Obviously the offensive line is a must. It is a lot of good questions, I wish I could be on the wall for when Cohen interviews.

There is no way you can know that.  You are lying.

There's no way you can know whether what I posted is true or not. Look through the many "Sanders for God" threads here and you'll see more than one supporter who says Sanders got into college coaching to help improve his son's chances to make it in the NFL.

I must be in a minority who saw the new AD interviewed in part of the game broadcast last night. He said he had 58 data points that a coach had to satisfy before he'd be considered. I wonder how many of the 58 Sanders satisfies?

He hired Mike Leach.  How difficult could the process be?

I have no idea about his process, other than he said he had 58 points that a potential hire must satisfy. How many of those data points do you think Sanders satisfies? Half would be 29. I doubt Sanders reaches that number.

I thought the 58 points were steps in the process, not coach qualities, but I don't care enough to go back and listen again.

Yeah. I read it 3 X and still didn't see the answer to the question of what is Deions coaching philosophy.

Again, being married to a philosophy in a game which is constantly evolving isn't very smart.

The philosophy is called,,, winning.

Yes, the guy who is coming here potentially I imagine has a coaching philosophy.

Idk how I feel about that. Like what's dabo and saban's offensive philosophy?

Saban has always wanted to run the ball regardless if he was in the power I or the spread. He has never deterred from that. The only difference is he adapted his scheme to fit what works in college football now a days.

likewise , DS specifically wanted a philosophy where he can score points fast and quick. Thats exactly why he sought out Mike Leach and Mike Leach recommended three guys, which Deion Sanders chose from.

So Deion Sanders does in fact has a specific philosophy that he wants his offense to adhere to. The problem I see with a lot of Sanders fans is they have no clue. Two of them specifically couldn’t tell you what offense he runs. All they care about is the fact that he may be able to recruit .

It is way more to coaching than just that.

FYI, Y'all can see NS explain the adaptation in philosophy in an article he had in 2021, based off what he seen done to his staff by Freeze. The idea that a head coach does not speak to his own chosen philosophies is just false. This does not mean it can't be dynamic. But you have people in here, rooting for a coach and has no clue what he believes in for his team. I believe in Deion, therefore, I wanted to research his philosophies and why he chose the Air Raid for his squad.

I think Saban is practical. He wants a system that 1) attracts the best athletes 2) translates well to the NFL 3)wins games..That seems to have worked out well for him

Frankly I’m not sure about Dabo

Philosophy!!!  Worked for Gus.  Yes please, another rigid philosophy.  What about a defensive philosophy?

Deion's "philosophy" is undefeated this year.  Winning should be the "philosophy".  It begins with recruiting.  Now more than ever.

Oh that is perfect. WINNING SHOULD BE THE PHILOSOPHY. So tell me how is he winning then? What is he doing to get his offense to be so productive?

Here is a better question for you. Why is Jimbo 3-7? He had the #1 recruiting class last year.

Injuries and suspensions???  Perhaps his "philosophy" can't keep up in such a dynamic environment.  I don't believe you really are "watching games".

It takes more than a single class.  You have to stockpile talent.  That takes consistent excellence.  And,,, that is exactly what Deion could do.

2019 class - #5

2020 class- #6

2021 class - #9

2022 class - #1

Four classes: Why are they 3-7 with losses to the like of App state? If it starts with recruiting, as you said.

Tennessee recruiting class after two years with CJH:

#22, #23

How are they winning against Bama, LSU, etc. Those teams have better recruiting classes then them

Heck how did LSU end up 6-7 last year with the insane recruiting classes the accumulated?

You said you like DS, Well how is he winning. He just stockpiling talent and telling them go out there and win? Why is that not working for others?
