I think we're the 'visiting team' this year, but I expect we'll be the better represented team in the stands.  I'm not sure how the ticketing works.

Well, to answer your question and I don't know why they are:This game will be a neutral site game, and although Auburn is geographically closer to Atlanta than South Carolina is, the Gamecocks will be the “home team,” as designated by the SEC.

If you're buying tickets from Stubhub, or another 3rd party, you need to know which side of the stadium your team's sitting on so you buy tickets in the right section.

Per SEC: The Western Division fans sit in the west half of the Georgia Dome every year, Sections 136-140, 101-115 and the 200 and 300 level sections above these. (The 50 yard line splits the two fan bases). The Western Division school is allocated Sections 136-140, 101-107, 348-352, 301-310.
