Did Davis step out of bounds?

At this point who cares. Part of me actually hopes he did step out of bounds and bama got beat by a missed call. They have certainly benefitted from a lot of them over the years. But no one besides the bammers are even suggesting it. Believe me if there was any doubt BSPN would be harping on it. Let the babies cry and laugh at them.

The TV telecast showed it clearly over and over he did not step out.... The facts never confuse Bammers.

I will give CBS props on that one very good camera work. Referee had perfect position as well.

They showed the shot right up and down the line. He very clearly did not step out of bounds. That is beyond stupid to show a shot from a bad angle with his foot clearly off the ground a claim that is evidence that he stepped out. He wasn't really even all that close. He was looking right at the line as was the official that was right there. The booth did not even call for a review because it was so clear.

Nevermind the official was in perfect position to see if Davis steps out of bounds and video clearly showed he did not. But seriously, who is surprised even a little that bamrs are clutching at this straw? LOL Its always some obscure thing when they get their fannies whipped. WDE

I wish we could find a video of the replay to be sure about this. Does anyone know where we could find one of those?ys

Did you watch the game? Any question about it was completely eliminated by the replay. Is that not enough for you?

The play was reviewed by the Replay Official. The White Hat was on the headphones for at least 5 minutes after the game. The celebration had already begun but he stayed on the sidelines with the headphones on. After about a 5 minute review he took off the headphones and ran off the field with the other officials and escorts.

Ummm...sarcasm. If he stepped out of bounds, I'm pretty sure someone would have picked up on it in the 7 million replays that have been broadcast since Saturday night.

Has anyone seen the photoshop picture of Chris Davis and Mike Tomlin. Heard about it on the radio. Haven't seen it yet thought.

im getting sick of hearing about the "phantom" false start on the missed FG in the 4rth. #77 moved his hands but it was so early they are not seeing it. we had 2 or 3 players stand up and point, the whistle blew and the ball should have never even been snapped. when you don't want to see a penalty its hard to see it.

Honestly, I didn't think he did, either, but we all know the Bammers are going to get a hold of this picture and scream bloody murder. I just wish we had pictures of every time their offensive linemen held during the game. That could fill up Buckingham Palace.

It's funny talking to them about their holds. My wife does NOT follow CFB. However, she was livid as she was pointing out to me the holds by bama players. I had to stop and rewind the game several times so she could ask. Yes I know that we probably got away with a few as well but from a woman that doesn't know CFB vs. CFB refs, you make the call.

This was so bad even the CBS announcers commented on it, and they almost never do that. They even pointed out at least one block in the back that wasn't called on bama.

There are a lot of posts of it on Youtube.

Guess I don't see why so much thread has been wasted on this kind of stuff. The game is over.....though perhaps this claim will be the 2010 version of Cam cheats or something.

What a pathetic fan base they are.

I think there are two steps on the run back that if he had put his heal down it would have gone out of bounds. It is pretty obvious his heal didn't go down though. Vern even talked about how close it was but that his heal never touched so he didn't go out. It is close but not that close. It really doesn't matter though. We won and could point to ten things that got missed or could have happend in our favor too. It's just sour grapes. Anything to try and tarnish the win. Don't let them steal you joy!!!!!!

Saying Davis stepped out of bounds and that UAT has 15 MNCs are both wishful thinking statements made by bammers and both are incorrect.

Davis did not step out of bounds. He did however, step on the throats of bama fans everywhere as he ran into the history books.

Winner!
