They aren't from Mexico where Trump wants to put his wall.

2 different issues.

And just as an aside ? Those militant killers who got in to France and Belgium, could very well come in across that NON border we have and ...well, it's a good bet they already have.

Borders prevent terrorism?

Timothy McVeigh

David Koresh

Adam Lanza

Charles Manson

Ted Bundy. Just a few who might beg to differ.

I could see all being classified as some what a terrorist except Bundy. He just enjoyed killing young females. maybe I'm missing something concerning Bundy but he had no use of terrorism in the pursuit of political aims that I am aware of.

Islamic State doesn't care. They killed over 30 and injured well over 200 anyway. Tried to kill more.

Coming to a city near you,if the liberals get there way.Europe is destroying it's self with all the immigration and Obama and Hillary want to bring in more muslim imigrants to this country.

Dumb post of the day alert.

Red are you denying that there have been terrorist attacks in the USA.More muslims will only bring more attacks.

Do you realize the ignorance of your posts?

So because McVeigh only killed people in Oklahoma, he is less of a terrorist?

Raptor, dear, I'm not saying that radical Islamic terrorists don't exist. They do. But a ban on all immigrants into this country is not the answer. And just because your xenophobic GOP presidential candidates Cruz and Trump say it is doesn't make it truth. Think outside the box for a minute if that's possible. What if it's an immigrant to this country that discovers the cure for cancer, for diabetes, or another disease? What if that immigrant is fated to save lives?

I edited my post but it didn't post correctly.

It should have read " using terror for political purposes" but that I define it as any act that creates terror.

DHS defines Domestic Terrorism as: "Any act of violence that is dangerous to human life or potentially destructive of critical infrastructure or key resources committed by a group or individual based and operating entirely within the United States or its territories without direction or inspiration from a foreign terrorist group."

There are many definitions of terrorism used throughout the FBI, CIA, DHS, etc. Ignoring domestic terrorism is a fallacy in itself. Any group that works by instilling fear into the populace is terrorism IMO.

Over 30 dead. Three Americans. Been in that transit station many times...with my family. Listen to the video; listen to the children screaming....see the bodies...this morning they kissed their wives or husbands goodbye....had breakfast with their kids...most planned to fly or take the train back in tonight and go on with life. But thanks to their leadership; that won't happen now. But thanks USN...glad to know you're safe today in DC...

What is it with these sort of threads?

Are they meant for just stoking up your hate for liberals and Muslims?

Such an act is universally abhorrent to any sane person, be they liberal, conservative, Christian or Muslim. That seems obvious to me. Why do I feel that some of you are actually using such a horrific act as some sort of political dividing line. That's insane.

So if your point is that ALL Muslims are dangerous and would be terrorists - all 1.6 billion of them - so we should declare war on Islam, then just say so.

If you are just too terrified we might endanger ourselves by allowing thoroughly vetted refugees into the country, then just say so.

If you are trying to say it's time to set our hair on fire and panic, just say so.

Just please stop using such a tragic event as some sort of political club. It demeans the tragedy as well as you.

Hhmmm, just following your team leader Saul Alinsky's, I mean Barack Obama's, rules Homey...don't remember you chiding others on here to back off their gun control rhetoric every time there's a shooting in the US....could it be you just get sensitive only when the results of your preferences result in large scale death of innocents?

These killings were preventable, just like San Bernardino, just like Paris, etc., and reflect an abject failure of leadership and delusional ideological framework that says a Western Democracy has 1) no right to control it's border, 2) no right decide who should come in and why and 3) every culture is created equal and assimilation is not required. The solution is painfully simple; and in fact it's already the law...so please stop the childish-drama-queen-knee-jerk-liberal-bull**** like "should we just panic", etc. Talk about demeaning rhetoric... Also, we still haven't implemented simple things brought out in the 9-11 commission findings on registering aliens, entry and exit controls, etc. Two successive administrations (and Western gov'ts in general) hell bent on not offending anyone have failed to protect the citizenry and in the process is offending the only people that should matter...those paying the freight here; the citizens of the country.

Blah blah blah. Post #19 speaks for itself.

I stand by what I said.

If we've done anything wrong, it's not killing and bombing enough.

This has zero to do with fearing those who are different. I'm so sick of that false claim being made over and over again. Whether it's illegals coming into our country, or it's people blowing up airports and metro stations. How would you justify their actions if they were lily white? Of course, you could not. But I'm sure you'd come up with some other excuse to explain away and dismiss their actions. Unless, they were white and conservative. Then you probably say water board the hell out of them

Elle had to go back 20 years and reference Oklahoma City bombing. How many bombings we had committed by Muslim extremist just past year?

Call me lost if you must. I don't dismiss that there are radical Islamic terrorists like you accuse me of. I just find the hypocrisy of your lot deeply disturbing. 30 people die in Brussuls and there is an outcry to ban Muslims, secure borders. 27 die at Sandy Hook Elementary School right here on American soil, and it's business as usual.
